Welcome to another day the Lord has made that we should rejoice and be glad in. (Psalms 118:24)

Today, let’s extend our trust in God to include His answers.
In today’s scripture, Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NLT), we read…
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.
Also, Romans 8:28 (NLT) encourages…
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Consider…
Yesterday, we were encouraged to pray and trust the Answerer of our prayers. Today, let’s extend that trust to the Answerer’s answers.
Why should we trust God’s answers? Here are a dozen divine reasons…
- We should trust God’s answers because…Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing. – Psalms 34:10 NLT
- We should trust God’s answers because Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT) exhorts us to…Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
- We should trust God’s answers because…Everything good comes from God. Every perfect gift is from him. These good gifts come down from the Father who made all the lights in the sky. But God never changes like the shadows from those lights. He is always the same. – James 1:17 ERV
- We should trust God’s answers because…Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks. – 1 Timothy 4:4 NLT
- We should trust God’s answers because 2 Corinthians 1:20 (NLT) declares…For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.
- We should trust God’s answers because Psalms 55:22 (NLT) encourages…Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
- We should trust God’s answers because Isaiah 40:31 (NLT) promises…But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
- We should trust God’s answers because Psalms 23:1 (ERV) declares…The Lord is my shepherd. I will always have everything I need.
- We should trust God’s answers because 2 Corinthians 12:9 (ERV) says…But the Lord said, “My grace is all you need. Only when you are weak can everything be done completely by my power.” So I will gladly boast about my weaknesses. Then Christ’s power can stay in me.
- We should trust God’s answers because Hebrews 4:16 (NLT) encourages…So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
- We should trust God’s answers because Psalms 37:25 (NLT) testifies…Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.
- We should trust God’s answers because Jesus said…“And don’t be concerned about what to eat and what to drink. Don’t worry about such things. These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers all over the world, but your Father already knows your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need. – Luke 12:29-31 NLT
There are dozens of additional scriptures that highlight God’s…
- Grace
- Omnipotently,
- Omnisciently,
- Deliberately,
- Navigates His
- Everlasting
- Sovereign
- Sanctification
In a word, we trust God’s answers because of His GOODNESS!
You see, God wants us to be His walking billboards. He wants to mimic the prophet Isaiah who said…
I will tell of the Lord’s unfailing love. I will praise the Lord for all he has done. I will rejoice in his great goodness to Israel, which he has granted according to his mercy and love. – Isaiah 63:7 NLT
In fact, 1 Peter 2:9 says God chose us to show others God’s goodness.
God wants us to be His appetizer that makes others…
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! – Psalms 34:8 NLT
Indeed God wants our trust in His answers to help others find out…
The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. – Lamentations 3:25 NLT
Also, God wants His children to show others still needing to be adopted, that He’s a good good Father (Matthew 7:11)
The Holy Spirit is leading me to point out God’s good is eternity focus, therefore it may not temporarily feel good. We know this because Romans 8:18 (ERV) acknowledges…
We have sufferings now, but these are nothing compared to the great glory that will be given to us.
So when you experience what feels like temporary death, remember it’s leading to eternal life.
Lastly, Dr. Charles Stanley said, “God doesn’t want us to like Him, rather He wants us to be like Him” (paraphrase)
That’s sage wisdom, because God’s answers to our prayers are meant to transform us into His likeness, not prove how much He likes us.
So today, be confident God will answer every prayer, and trust His answers are for your good, simply because He is good.
Today’s song is….
Goodness Of God
Blessings 4HG (1 Corinthians 10:31)
